Hard gel, or builder gel, is a non-soak off nail enhancement that adds strength to the natural nail. Tips can be applied for extra length. Manually applied to build and shape the nail and cured under a light. It is non-porous unlike acrylic so water won’t cause lifting, it does not have a strong odor, and is more flexible leading to less breakage. Lasts 3+ weeks.
Dip powder is a healthy alternative to acrylic. It overlays on the natural nails without damage. Minimal length can be added. I do a new set with a gentle removal each time. Lasts 2-3 weeks.
A manicure does not include added enhancements such as hard gel. Cleaning the natural nails and cuticle, shaping and moisturizer. Gel polish can be added.
